Looking cute as she made her way around town, Vanessa Hudgens was spotted visiting a friend’s house in Los Angeles on Thursday (April 30).

Wearing a stylish floral mini with a black top, the Disney darling then made her way over to the Film Colony Studios to put in some work.

Meanwhile it was announced yesterday by E! news that Miss Hudgens has herself a co-star for her upcoming movie “Beastly”.

The report tells that 19-year-old British actor Alex Pettyfer has been cast to star opposite Hudgens in the film, which is “a modern retelling of Beauty and the Beast, for CBS Films.”

Trying to keep undercover, Rachel Bilson was spotted visiting a Whole Foods supermarket in New York City earlier this afternoon (April 30).

The former “OC” cutie wore a black sunhat, sunglasses, Chanel scarf, long grey tee-shirt, blue jeans and a pair of boots. And that wasn’t all she was wearing - as she proudly showed off her beautiful engagement ring.

One thing Bilson is, is fashion. And now she has recently teamed up with InStyle magazine to write a fashion column that will answer questions from readers each month.

The 23-year-old has already created Edie Rose and her first writings will appear in InStyle’s May issue.

Bilson will tell about the essentials for the upcoming season, as well as keeping money in your pocket and shopping at retailers like Payless.

Back in action at her local dance studio, Katie Holmes was spotted getting in a little practice time in Pacific Palisades on Thursday (April 30).

And while she isn’t busy putting in hard work at the studio, Katie recently revealed that family movie night is one of her favorite relaxing activities.

The 30-year-old tells of spending time with hubby Tom Cruise and their daughter: “We like to watch three movies in a row.”

Of the TV that graces the family’s Beverly Hills mansion, Holmes boasts, “It’s pretty big. I love to watch movies on the big screen.”

Enjoying a getaway from the media following her split from Samantha Ronson, the lovely Lindsay Lohan has been spotted enjoying the shopping and surf on the island of Maui, Hawaii over the past week.

Along with trying to surf with sister Ali, the “Georgia Rule” starlet also made sure to fit in time to make a few purchases at a local shopping center before heading back to her hotel.

And while a rejuvenating island getaway might be just what the doctor ordered, many believe that time is running out for LiLo when it comes to needing to get her acting career back underway.

Meanwhile, as Hayden’s hit show “Heroes” saw in the season 4 finale this past Monday, Miss Panettiere has reportedly been focused on finishing a documentary for a Save the Whales awareness campaign.

“We’re really trying to do something like ‘An Inconvenient Truth’ but for the oceans,” told Hayden, who has also been out seeking additional funds for her project.

Offering a little relief to the catwalk queen, the alleged stalker of Tyra Banks has been convicted of multiple charges including stalking, harassment, attempted aggravated harassment, and criminal trespass earlier this morning (April 30).

With Tyra testifying at Manhattan’s criminal court just yesterday, Brady Green will hopefully no longer be a problem for Miss Banks.

“The behavior was hounding,” Judge James Burke told press, who also opted against giving Green any time in the slammer – instead telling the defendant’s lawyer to “Put Mr. Green in a location where he can thrive. And that location is not likely to be the city of New York.”

Of the outcome, Green’s attorney, Jeffrey Berman, said, “I’m disappointed with the verdict, but I’m glad the judge did not send him to jail.”

She may have lost the Miss USA crown because of her position on gay marriage, and now Miss California Carrie Prejean is taking her stance on the controversial issue a step further.

During her interview on the “Today” show, Prejean announced that she’s partnering with the National Organization for Marriage to protect the sanctity of traditional marriage values.

She explained, “I am just here to protect marriage.  The National Organization for Marriage basically just respects marriages and people who support it. I am here to protect traditional marriage.”

Carrie also expressed her surprise over the outrage her comments at the pageant caused.  “I never thought in a million years that this would be happening right now. I was attacked for giving my own opinion on stage. I am going to do whatever it takes to protect marriage.”

And she says the reaction has been overwhelmingly positive.  “I’ve actually had so many supporters and so many people say, ‘Thank you so much. It had to take a beauty pageant contestant to actually stand up for what she believes in.’”

It was a bit of a shock when she and boyfriend Chuck Wicks were eliminated from “Dancing with the Stars” this week, and Julianne Hough has announced she won’t be back next season.

The 20-year-old dancer/singer told press, “I’m not doing next season.  I’m gonna take one off,” after she learned of her elimination.

She continued, “We definitely went further than anticipated. I think he could have made it a little bit further.  But you know what? It’s the name of the game and it’s about fan base and hopefully our country fans will follow us into music.”

Miss Hough will be spending the summer stretching her touring legs as she gears up for a May 9th gig in Hidalgo, Texas followed by several other dates.
