She’s catapulted to major international fame over the past year, and last night (June 29) Lady GaGa was rocking the house at the Manchester Academy in Manchester, England.

The “Poker Face” songstress donned an array of flashy ensembles as she performed a collection of her hits to the delight of the massive audience.

Earlier in the day, GaGa visited an AIDS charity event held by Body Positive North West in Manchester, showing her love for a cause that hits close to home for her.

She told press, “I have a lot of gay and lesbian friends who are confronted by the fears of that sort of lifestyle. I am a very supportive, proactive woman and I really just wanted to paint with them today.  They are so vibrant and its art and love and togetherness. It is everything that should be around the very serious thing that is HIV.”

Given his high-profile legal woes as of late, Chris Brown was reportedly pulled from this past weekend’s BET Awards performer roster, a move that was encouraged by multiple parties.

An inside source revealed that the Reverend Al Sharpton was one of the objectors to Brown’s presence at the event.  “Al made such a fuss to the BET executives that they pulled Chris.”

Additionally, Jay-Z also voiced his issues with the “Kiss Kiss” singer.  “Jay is a big name in the BET community, and he was very vocal about his displeasure with Chris attending the ceremony. He didn’t want Chris anywhere near the awards so close to the court’s ruling.”

The result?  Brown was pulled at the last minute and according to a pal, he was none too happy.  “He’s furious.  BET asked him to perform and waited until the last minute to tell him it was off. He’s pretty shocked and outraged right now.”

Taking full advantage of a beautiful summer day in New York City, Robert Pattinson was spotted filming his new movie “Remember Me” in Central Park this morning (June 30).

The “Twilight” stud looked to be having a good time as he shot a few outdoor scenes, relaxing and chatting with crew and cast members in between takes.

In related news, it seems Robert used to have a thing for the girl next door- literally.  The “New Moon” hunk used to date Nina Schubert, a girl who lived around the corner from him.  And now that he’s famous, she’s pining over him.

An insider told press, “Nina hasn’t been able to get over Rob and shake the fact that she was his first love.  Over the past year, it really hit her hard when she saw him get famous. She realizes that she had Rob all to herself, but now he seems to be the subject of every girl’s dreams and fantasies. She’s still trying to come to grips with what happened between them.”

“Even though Nina was modeling, she wasn’t famous. She and Rob were able to do the simple things most young couples do, like walk hand-in-hand in the park and go to movies. They got to know each other without the world watching.  Nina and Rob continued to date as their careers took off. They moved in together in London and, for a time, they were the golden couple.”

In the continuing investigation into the death of Michael Jackson, the Los Angeles County Coroner’s Office has conducted a search of the late singer’s Beverly Hills Home.

According to a report, investigators returned to Jackson’s residence and recovered various pieces of evidence to help them with their plight to determine the details surrounding Jackson’s death.

LAPD detective Fred Corral told press that while their actions may seem a bit much, it’s all standard procedure.  “It’s nothing unusual.  Remember, the whole purpose is to determine the cause of death.”

In related news, it seems the concert promoters behind the “This Is It” series planned for the O2 Arena are trying to make the best of a bad situation.  They’ll be organizing a lineup of A-list performers to fulfill the dates with tribute shows to Jackson.

He’s no stranger to international travel, and last night (June 29) Justin Timberlake was spotted out and about in London’s ‘Mayfair district.

The “SexyBack” stud looked to be having a good time as he hit up Guy Ritchie’s haunt The Punchbowl, sporting a dark denim jacket with a black t-shirt and black jeans.

Earlier in the evening, JT and his business partner/pal Trace Ayala were over at Selfridges department store to unveil their William Rast Fall 2009 Collection.

And it was a big night for the label, as it’s finally going global after being hailed as one of the best up-and-coming lines in the industry.

They’ve been taking their new movie all over the world, and last night (June 29) Ryan Reynolds and Sandra Bullock were spotted at the German premiere of “The Proposal.”

The “Van Wilder” funnyman and the “Miss Congeniality” babe looked to be having a marvelous time as they arrived at the Mathaeser Filmpalast cinema in Munich for the big event.

Both fans of hamming it up in front of the cameras, Ryan and Sandra were more than happy to strike a plethora of poses for the German paparazzi before finally heading inside.

And if “The Proposal” does as well abroad as it has done here in the States (opened #1 with $34 million in ticket sales in the first weekend) they’ll have an international hit on their hands.

She’s become part of American popular culture thanks to shows like “The Bachelor” and “Dancing with the Stars,” and now Melissa Rycroft is hearing wedding bells.

The reality television fixture announced her engagement to Tye Strickland, an insurance agent from Dallas, following two years of on/off dating.

And according to Melissa’s “Dancing with the Stars” partner Dovolani, it’s a match made in heaven.  “He is a great hometown boy.  He will love her endlessly.”

According to a report, Strickland took Miss Rycroft to White’s Chapel in Southlake, Texas to pop the question, after which they met up with their parents for dinner at the Brio Tuscan Grille.

She’s always up for a good time, and last night (June 29) Rihanna was spotted getting her swerve on at the Gramercy Park Hotel.

The “Take a Bow” songstress made an appearance at the super swanky birthday party for Allegra Versace, sporting a futuristic black and white ensemble complete with black shades and white gloves.

In related news, it seems Ri-Ri’s father, Ronald Fenty, is pretty irate that Chris Brown got off so lightly for his felonious assault charges.

Fenty told press, “Chris should have been sent to jail for what he did to my girl.  He’s got off lightly.” He added, “Chris put her through hell, she’s just relieved it’s all over.”

They’re no strangers to the world of retail therapy, and yesterday (June 29) Kim Kardashian and Reggie Bush did some serious shopping.

Joined by gal pal LaLa, the “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” babe and her hunky beau checked out the Chanel boutique on Robertson Boulevard amidst a sea of paparazzi.

Squeezing in an afternoon retail romp, Brenda Song ventured out to Kitson boutique in West Hollywood, California on Monday (June 29).

Joined by a group of her gal pals, the girls were all smiles as they headed to their car carrying their Kitson Totes - with Brenda stopping to greet a few young fans along the way.

Tweeting about her day, Brenda kept it short and sweet, saying, “Beautiful Monday can’t be better!”
