Tending to her motherly duties, Kate Gosselin was spotted sending the kiddies off to school in reading on Monday morning (August 31).

The TLC reality star mommy walked her brood of children up to the bus, looking a bit upset with nearby paparazzi as she loaded her little ones onto the bus.

As previously reported by Gossip Center, Miss Gosselin spent the weekend hosting a pool party on Saturday with her bodyguard Steve Neild and his family as guests.

After a full day of swimming and apple picking, Kate said her goodbyes - giving Steve and his wife big hugs before getting back to life as usual.

She may be one of the hottest actresses in Hollywood, but Kristen Stewart says she’s not too concerned with the whole celebrity fashion scene.

The “New Moon” babe told press, “Fashion isn’t something I think about a whole lot and it’s such a large area of the media.  It’s weird.”

She also noted that her success with the “Twilight” film has afforded her more opportunities as an actress than she’s ever had before.

“It’s easier now to do things I really like, like an independent movie that nobody sees.  Now it’ll be, ‘Oh, let’s go see Bella in this stripper movie!’ It’ll be crazy.”

The movie she is speaking of is “Welcome to the Rileys” which Stewart says was the “most fruitful life-changing movie experience I’ve ever had. It was the hardest subject-matter. I play a very broken young girl working in a strip club.”

They decided to part ways this summer after a three-year-long romance, and now it seems that Nick Lachey and Vanessa Minnillo are giving their love another try.

According to a report, the former “Newlyweds” stud and his former MTV veejay were spotted making out at The Dime, a Los Angeles nightclub.

An eyewitness revealed, “They were making-out in one of the booths and seemed totally into one another. They were having a great time and definitely appeared to be back on. They didn’t care who saw them.”

Another bar patron told press that Nick and Vanessa were only there for 20 minutes before Miss Minnillo began crawling all over Lachey.  Perhaps this time it will last.

When she’s on stage, she’s in her element, and over the weekend Fergie gave a killer performance at the Outside Lands Music & Art Fest.

The “Big Girls Don’t Cry” songstress looked super sexy in a zipped-up corset-style getup with strappy black heels as she worked the crowd.

Regarding the late Adam ‘DJ AM’ Goldstein, Fergie and her Black Eyed Peas bandmates told press of the shock they felt when the heard the tragic news of his death.

Taboo commented, “Oh man, we were shocked [when we heard].  We couldn’t believe it. We were just with him [last] Friday in Las Vegas. We DJed with him and we took a couple pictures, and to hear it is devastating.”

Fergie recalled, “I remember going to this club called Firehouse back in the day.  It was, like, the summer of ‘98 and he used to spin there. It’s a big dance club and this one night I remember there was basically 10 people in the club, but I really wanted to dance that night. It was the perfect night for me to practice dancing because not a lot of people were there and he was spinning, and they kept the club open and he kept spinning really good music. He was so cool like that.”

She continued, “He was just so talented and just such a cool, good-spirited person.  There wasn’t a mean bone in that guy’s body, and it’s just really sad after what happened with him and Travis and now this, it’s really sad.”

She’s always up for a swanky soiree, and Saturday (August 29) Kristin Cavallari was spotted at Fred Segal’s birthday charity event and auction.

The “Laguna Beach” babe looked lovely in an all-white ensemble as she arrived at the shindig, held at a private residence in Malibu, California.

The day before, Kristin was spotted sporting a sexy bathing suit as she filmed scenes for the upcoming season of “The Hills” on the Malibu beach.

Of the new season, MTV VP Liz Gately revealed, “She is the same Kristin we know and love — not afraid to mix things up. Her presence has really changed every dynamic within the cast, especially with Audrina [Patridge] and Justin Bobby.”

She’s always up for a high-profile industry event, and yesterday Jennie Garth was spotted arriving at the 36th Annual Daytime Emmy Awards.

The “Beverly Hills 90210” babe looked lovely as she strolled through the arrivals area outside the Orpheum Theater in Los Angeles, sporting a floor-length orange gown.

Once inside, Ms. Garth was more than just a spectator- she joined fellow actress Lori Loughlin onstage to present one of the event’s illustrious awards.

And it was a big day for “The Bold and the Beautiful” which took home its first Best Drama Series Daytime Emmy of all time.

It has been in the mix for months now, and finally Audrina Patridge has officially announced her departure from “The Hills.”

The “Into the Blue 2” babe told press, “I’m almost done with ‘The Hills.’ We’re in the middle of finishing these episodes, and I’ll be leaving them.”

Audrina added that she feels like she’s moving into a new phase of her life.  “It feels like I’m graduating.  I’m taking the next step and growing up and maturing and moving on in my life.”

Her departure from the MTV reality show will help her attain her original goal when she moved to Hollywood- acting in movies.  “I moved to Los Angeles to be an actress, and before I got onto The Hills, I was going to auditions and castings and working full-time at [film studios] Quixote Studios and Smashbox.”

Enjoying a delicious meal together, Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt were spotted out at a Los Angeles restaurant yesterday afternoon (August 30).

Joined by a guy pal, the “Hills” hotties looked to be in a bit of a tiff as Spencer displayed an angry face and waved his arms around while arguing loudly.

Perhaps they were talking about having kids, as Stephanie Pratt recently told press that Heidi is ready for babies, while Spencer is not.

“Heidi is the one with the baby fever; Spencer is not.  Here’s the deal: Basically, Heidi got married; [then] she’s like, ‘Oh my God, what do I do?’” she explained. “I really feel like she went to a bookstore and saw ‘Newlyweds: The Wife’s Edition,’ and so now she’s like, ‘I still want to get a house with a white picket fence… and then probably a dog, and then we’ll move on to kids. And I want to take cooking lessons.’”

Making the most of his 27th birthday, Andy Roddick was spotted out and about in New York City with his wife, model Brooklyn Decker, yesterday (August 30).

The tennis stud looked to be having a marvelous time with his beautiful bride as they stopped off for some coffee during their city stroll.

And with the US Open beginning today, Andy recently told press he’s disappointed that the Tennis Integrity Unit has put regulations on the Twitter rights of players.

Roddick tweeted, “I think its lame the U.S. Open is trying to regulate our tweeting.  I understand the on-court issue but not sure they can tell us if we can’t do it on our own time … we’ll see.”

“I definitely respect the rule about inside info and on court, but you would seriously have to be a moron to send ‘inside info’ through a tweet.  Not very subtle/smart … come on.”

The new rules state that tweeting is not allowed on the court during matches.  They also warn players about using Twitter away from the court, as they could potentially send out “certain sensitive information” about the matches.

Ending her weekend with an evening out on the town, Lindsay Lohan was spotted heading over to the Crown Bar in West Hollywood last night (August 30).

The “Mean Girls” actress looked camera-shy as she pushed past the paparazzi, sporting a pair of ‘Joe 90’ specs along with a blue minidress, black cardigan, and black heels.

In related news, it seems LiLo is getting chapped for having sticky fingers again- Beverly Hills jewelry store XIV Karats says she needs to return over $2 million in jewels.

An insider revealed, “Lindsay claimed that they had been stolen from her safe. They’ve disappeared. XIV are not happy about it. The jewels were in Lindsay’s care and they were only on a loaner, they were expected to be returned. If something is not resolved soon there will be legal action taken.”
