Starting the week off with a trip to the toy store, Cate Blanchett was spotted heading into Toys R Us with her two boys in New York City.

Stepping out of a taxi, the “Elizabeth” actress looked cute in jeans, high boots and a gray coat while hurrying her kids along to avoid the rainy weather.

In other news, the 40-year-old recently told press she doesn’t mind living in a male-dominated household – she has three sons with her playwriter husband, Andrew Upton.

Blanchett tells People magazine, “Having boys is great. It’s a neat position to be in and I love the high energy that comes along in raising boys. It’s fun.”

Something else she loves? Vacuuming. The actress says, “It can be quite therapeutic!”

After spending the Thanksgiving holiday in Mexico, George Clooney and Elisabetta Canalis were spotted heading to the Los Cabos airport earlier today (November 30).

The “Men Who Stare at Goats” actor and his lady looked to be in good spirits as their luggage was unloaded from their chauffeured vehicle. 

As previously reported, Clooney and Canalis enjoyed their vacation at George’s home with the beautiful Cindy Crawford and her husband, Rande Gerber.

In box office news, the actor’s upcoming film, “Up in the Air” may become one of his biggest successes – as it has already created a lot of Oscar nomination buzz.
The film will hit theatres on Christmas Day.

In the aftermath of the death of Michael Jackson earlier this year, Debbie Rowe has been the target of some major paparazzi attention.

And earlier this month, shutterbug Ed Frommer was attacked by some “rabid Michael Jackson fans” with a baseball bat.  Frommer blames the incident on a defamation lawsuit he filed against Rowe.

In his 911 call, Frommer tells the dispatcher that two cars pulled up beside him in Lancaster, California and three men exited the cars and began threatening him.

Things escalated to the point that Ed says one of the men began “pushing me with a bat through my window,” while the other men told him to stay away from Debbie.

Still dealing with the aftermath of Tiger Woods’ accident last week, his rumored mistress Rachel Uchitel was spotted on her way to a meeting in Beverly Hills, California today (November 30).

Joined by her attorney Gloria Allred, Miss Uchitel looked a bit camera-shy as she noticed the nearby paparazzi.  Rachel is said to be preparing a lawsuit with the help of her famous attorney.

Meanwhile, the Florida Highway Patrol is still trying to get Woods to shed some light on the events of this past Friday morning when he was involved in a car accident following an altercation with his wife Elin Nordegren.

Kim Montes, an FHP spokesperson, told press, “As of Nov. 30, 2009, the Florida Highway Patrol has been unable to speak to Mr. Woods about the crash he was involved in on the morning of Nov. 27, 2009, despite attempts to do so.  Mr. Woods’ representatives have provided us with his driver license information, vehicle registration and current proof of insurance, as required by Florida Law.”

She’s looking hotter than ever these days, and Kim Kardashian says she’s pleased that she has been able to make it to her ideal weight.

In a recent website post, the “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” babe explained that she’s not looking to drop any more pounds, but rather maintain her healthy form.

“I really feel like I have reached my fitness goal and now I am toned, fit and at a healthy weight and I just need to keep it up!”

And she’s not making any excuses for herself going into the holiday season. On Thanksgiving last week, Kim tweeted, “No excuse for getting lazy during the holidays,” as she planned to hit the treadmill while the food was in the oven.

Taking her Latin-flavored pop music to Paris, France, Shakira was spotted giving a killer concert at the Bercy Arena last night (November 29).

The “Hips Don’t Lie” songstress looked amazing as she performed as part of the Starfloor Fun Radio Concert in the City of Lights.

Earlier in the weekend, Shakira received her official residency to the Republic of Chile from President Michelle Bachelet.

Shakira has been working non-stop to promote her new album “She Wolf” that hit stores and online retailers on November 23rd.

Staying firmly rooted in her Scottish tradition, Susan Boyle was spotted celebrating St. Andrew’s Day outside her Blackburn, Scotland home today (November 30).

The “Britain’s Got Talent” songstress looked overjoyed as she displayed a Scottish Saltire flag as the paparazzi snapped up pictures.

Another reason for her ear-to-ear smile is definitely the fact that she has the fastest-selling debut album in the history of the British album charts.

Boyle’s I Dreamed a Dream entered the UK charts at #1 with sales of 410,000 in the first week.  In addition she also had the largest pre-order numbers in Amazon.com’s 14-year history.

Joining in on the holiday shopping weekend rush, Kylie Jenner was spotted making her way around Los Angeles, California on Sunday afternoon (November 29).

The adorable younger sister of Kim Kardashian ended up making a few purchases at the local Williams Sonoma shop, prepping for Christmas with her E! reality TV family.

Aside from satisfying her retail needs and continuing along with her school duties, Kylie is gearing up for another season of “Keeping Up with the Kardashians”.

The fourth season of the popular Kardashian/Jenner series will premiere on December 13, 2009 on E!.

It seems that controversy and drama seem to follow him wherever he goes, and Michael Lohan’s latest issues have come from a fake Twitter account.

According to a report, the infamous father was thought to be suicidal after an imposter created an account and pretended to be Lohan, posting desperate tweets over the holiday weekend.

One post read, “Fiance just left me. My family hates me, I spent Thanksgiving with my mom. I just cant do any of this anymore.” It was followed by another one that said, “Heading to the Brooklyn Bridge.  Goodbye.”

The real Michael Lohan explained in an email, “This is not not not me. I do not have and never had a Twitter and Twitter’s corporate office confirms that. My lawyers are investigating.”

Fresh from an overnight flight from LAX, Gwen Stefani and family were spotted arriving in London, England earlier today (November 30).

The “No Doubt” superstar along with husband, Gavin Rossdale, and their two little guys, Kingston and Zuma, looked happy to be back on the ground, as they all arrived at their mansion.

Back in September and as previously reported, their London home was burglarized when the front door of the multi-million dollar house was smashed open- with the thieves getting away with jewelry.

This is the family’s first trip to the UK since the burglary.
