Alexander Skarsgard is dodging reports that he and Kate Bosworth are an item – as he insists they are just good friends!

The actor of “True Blood” says he’s still living the life of being single, telling, “I’m not dating anyone, those are just rumors.”

When asked if there was a special women in his life, he said, “My mom and my sister.”

Previously, the 33-year-old expressed what he loved in a woman.

“A sense of humor is number one for sure. Being funny and smart is very important.”

The Swedish native has been called the sexiest man alive - and he doesn’t mind.

“It’s very flattering,” he said, adding the attention often leaves him a little red-faced. “I turn a little pink! I’ve gotten proposals and suggestions that are slightly inappropriate.It’s odd but very flattering!”

Nicole Richie’s friends are happy that the busy star has checked herself into the hospital - because she has been working “nonstop” over the past few months and needs some down time.

Richie is in Los Angeles’ Ceders Sinai where her rep says she is being treated for pneumonia.

The Simple Life star recently gave birth to son Sparrow in September with Joel Madden, who already have 22 month-year-old daughter Harlow.

Richie began feeling achy early on November 9.

“Nicole began feeling sick, and has pretty much been in bed,” a source said. “She didn’t want to make a big deal out of it, but she was exhausted and couldn’t take care of Harlow and
Sparrow the way she normally does. Nicole spent most days in bed, and the kids were brought in to her, since she was feeling so icky.”

Friends made sure that Richie was doing okay. “Joel was out of the town the entire first week she was sick and he didn’t realize how serious it was. Friends were calling and stopping by to check in on her while Joel was away.

Joel quickly realized it was much more serious. “When he got back he was worried and realized she didn’t have [just] a little flu bug.”

“Nicole has been working very hard since giving birth to Sparrow in September,” the source added. “She really is a stay-at-home mom with the kids all day long and then she goes to work on her House of Harlow line.

But with kids and work, she was forgetting to rest. “She puts the kids to bed and then has a little quiet time to herself around 9pm. All the work and nonstop going out has been a lot for her right after giving birth.”

“She’s doing better and getting great care,” the friend says of Richie’s hospital visit. “It’s time for a speedy recovery.”

Getting ready for the day ahead, Victoria Beckham was spotted leaving her Central London hotel earlier today (November 19).

The former Spice Girl looked a bit awkward thanks to a low-brimmed hat that she wore with an all-black ensemble as she hopped into her new BMW 5 series GT.

And in a recent interview, Posh confessed that given the choice between sleep and sex, she’d most definitely choose sex.

She explained, “I’m getting into bed with David Beckham every night, so, you know, there’d be something wrong if I said, ‘sleep.’ I tend to wear nothing [to bed].  But David bought me these little sets from Agent Provocateur, his favorite store.”

Tending to his non-stop press duties, Robert Pattinson dropped by the “Today” show in New York City on Thursday (November 19).

Up bright and early, the Edward Cullen hunk chatted with Diane Sawyer as fans swarmed around for a glimpse of the vampire.

And while fans may love Ro’s body, but he isn’t always comfortable shedding the layers.

One scene in “New Moon” made the actor take off his shirt, which he didn’t exactly enjoy.

“I felt pretty goofy stepping out into the sunlight in front of 2,000 people in a town square, ripping my clothes off. I was essentially doing a striptease.”

But the vampire used it to his advantage and said it was “one of the moments where I’ve really felt closest to people’s emotional attachment to Edward.”

“There were so many extras in that scene who were ‘Twilight’ fans who had flown in just to be a part of it,” he said. “It was a moment where I’ve felt the whole weight of anticipation, and I guess responsibility as well, of being Edward, for all the people who were kind of so obsessed with the stories. It was quite uplifting, and it was also very nerve-wracking.”

Pattinson has gotten better at baring his body, though.

“It’s funny because Spanish people have no problem with nudity at all. And English people obviously do have the most enormous problem with it. Little things, like when I saw my father getting changed for swimming, I was traumatized by it… I kind of freaked out a bit.”

But he would bare it all if it was for the right role.

“I think it would depend on what it is,” he said. “And I don’t think a lot of people would really want to see that. I think it would ruin the illusion!”

Making the most of a beautiful SoCal afternoon, Kate Hudson was spotted heading out for lunch in Santa Monica yesterday (November 18).

The “How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days” actress looked cute and casual as she arrived at Raw restaurant, sporting a grey sweatshirt with jeans, sandals, and a black hat.

In a recent interview, Miss Hudson explained that she has a hard time with all of the tabloid coverage she’s been receiving as of late.

“If I were to sit with people who did these magazines, I would ask them, ‘Why so negative?’ You know, you build people up to destroy them. That’s sort of the game and it makes sense and you get it…but when you know them, and they are these beautiful people who really love what they do, they’re just like everybody else, even though we live in these sort of extraordinary strange circumstances where people are watching you.”

They’re no strangers to international travel and earlier today (November 19) Freida Pinto and Dev Patel were spotted arriving at Heathrow International Airport in London, England.

The “Slumdog Millionaire” costars/real-life lovers looked blissful as they made their way through the terminal, with Dev proving that chivalry isn’t dead as he took care of Freida’s luggage.

And as always, Dev and Freida were more than happy to stop and sign autographs and pose for pictures with their fans.

Stepping out to earn a little extra cash, Katy Perry played host at the Samsung Behold II premiere launch party in Hollywood, California on Wednesday night (November 18).

Decked out in a sexy pink ensemble, the “I Kissed A Girl” singer charmed the crowd on hand at Boulevard3 as she did her best to boost interest in the mobile phone company’s latest release.

Earlier in the day, Miss Perry concentrated her efforts on keeping her figure in tip-top shape with a trip to the local gym.

She also was busy tweeting away to her friends, professing, “I want to call everyone in my life and tell them I love them. You should too!”

They’re always up for a publicity opportunity, and last night (November 18) the ladies of “90210” were spotted living it up at the GQ Men of the Year Party.

Shenae Grimes arrived at the Chateau Marmont looking fine in a strapless black dress with a blinging necklace and matching heels.

Meanwhile, Jessica Stroup made her entrance looking leggy in a black top/black blazer/gold shorts combo with black mesh heels.

And AnnaLynne McCord kept things simple with a classic black minidress with black peep-toe heels and a big smile.

Stepping out for a fun-filled evening, Kristin Cavallari was spotted at the US Weekly Hot Hollywood 2009 soiree last night (November 18).

The “Twilight” beefcake looked to be having a great time as he hit up Bistro Laurent Tourondel for a delicious dinner in the midst of his “New Moon” promotional duties.

In a recent interview, Mr. Lautner told press that his favorite part of being an overnight sensation is all of the places he’s been able to see.

“It’s traveling the world in general and seeing this kind of fan support worldwide. We go to Sao Paolo, Brazil, and then we go to Mexico City, we go all over the world and we have fans there with the same amount of passion everywhere we go. It’s just amazing to know we have that kind of fan support behind us.”
